The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) was established in 2010 as an independent Research & Technology Organisation (RTO) with the objective of bridging the gap between academia and industry. It represents one of the largest public-sector investments in UK manufacturing and, after four years of planning and a 16-month build, the facility opened at Ansty Park in Coventry at the end of 2011.

Manufacturing support services
The MTC’s Manufacturing Support Services works with manufacturers to help them embrace the latest technology and improve their productivity to maintain tomorrow’s growth. Business Launch centre
The MTC’s Business Launch Centre is a hub of innovation, set up to support start-ups and bring ideas to market. This unique technology and manufacturing incubation centre provides up-and-coming entrepreneurs with the expertise, tools and space to develop their product in a de-risked environment.
