GN541.1 Oil Level Sight Glass
These oil level sight glasses are practically indestructible. Even at high torque there is no danger of any breakage. Because of the high strength of the basic material (considerably higher than, for instance, Plexiglass) the oil viewing hole could be kept relatively thin walled. The glass is therefore clearer and the ratio between bore and viewing hole is improved.
The large sections of the reflector allow even low viscosity oils to drain away. These oil level sight glasses can also be used in tanks which are pressurised. The max permissible pressure is dependent on the tank size operating conditions (i.e. temperature). Test results are available.
For mounting on walls of less than 4 mm thickness please use a fixing nut GN543.1
