Type E - Extraction, each rail one side only
GN2406 Telescopic Linear Motion Bearing, S Shape Profile, Steel
These hardwearing telescope linear motion bearings consist of two linear motion bearings linked by an intermediate profile and are ideal for storage drawers and sliding doors, or for jig making with travel in a linear direction. They are used when the lateral space is small, and when large strokes are required at the same time. The S shape of the intermediate profile gives the configuration a high degree of rigidity and strength.
The rails and the intermediate profile are equal in length. Both rails can be extracted such that a stroke is reached which is longer than the base length l1. Limiting the maximum stroke should be ensured by external elements; the supports of the rail are dampened by elastomers and have been designed to guard against the inadvertent extraction of the runner.
Rail/Runner - Heat-treatable steel, zinc plated, blue passivated.
Raceways - hardened.
Balls - Anti-friction bearing steel, hardened.
Ball cage - Steel, zinc plated.
Intermediate metal sheet of the ball cage - Steel, zinc plated.
