GN705 Set Collar, Steel, Zinc Plated, with Internal Hexagon

These top quality set collars, GN 705, are a cost effective choice, used primarily in corrosion-free environments as securing rings on round shafts, as mechanical stops. A useful machining component, they are also commonly utilised for locating purposes. They have a simple, one piece design for easy installation. The clamping is done radially on the shaft or axle surface. Together with a dimpled hole or a groove at the collet diameter, the set collars can be positioned exactly and, at the same time, damage to the clamping point can be avoided.
