Type S - With circlip
Product Description
DIN6311 Thurst Pad, Steel, Case Hardened, with Circlip
These thrust pads are used to transmit clamping forces. They adjust to uneven surfaces and eliminate the transmission of any screw turning movement to the workpiece.
The snap ring is a simple, fast method of connecting the thrust pad to the grub screw.
Screws with thrust points include grub screws DIN 6332 and Tommy screws DIN 6304 and DIN 6306
Installation Hint
The thrust pad should be held at an angle allowing the circlip to drop to the bottom of its groove with the split end downwards. The thrust pin is then offered up to the split end of the circlip at the lowest possible angle and pressed home.
