Kent Business Awards

Business Awards Kent exists to reward excellence in Kent businesses. We were nominated as part of the Tunbridge Wells region. We were finalists in these two categories, and very excited to say that we won Best Family Business! Our thanks to the event judges and hosts, it was a wonderful evening!

  • Best Family Business - Winners! How the family values and the family members have guided the development of the business. Family businesses are the backbone of the UK economy. This award celebrates their contribution in terms of jobs provided, income generated and wealth created. Previous winners have all been incredible businesses with a story to tell and a strong desire to succeed. The pride and passion for what they do with family values, integrity and resilience shines through.

  • Small Business Award - This award goes to the business that has achieved consistent growth backed by a strong financial performance, while demonstrating a clear understanding of the markets that it operates in.

Charity Donations

Each year, we ask our colleagues for charity suggestions, to donate to at Christmastime. This year, small, local charities, all in the heart of Kent were the focus. We wish to tell you a little more about the amazing work these charities carry out, and in doing so, raise awareness.

  • Communigrow - an education charity, teaching children, young people and adults how to grow fresh food in a chemical free, sustainable way.

  • Hospice in the Weald - care for adults and children living with a terminal or life-limiting illness, as well as their loved ones.

  • Sevenoaks Larder - a food support service that helps those who are struggling to pay for their weekly food shop.

  • Mangold Foundation - supporting poor and needy people in the Philippines.

In addition. we donate on a monthly basis to:

  • World Vision  - we sponsor a young girl, living in less advantageous circumstances, allowing her and her village access to better food, healthcare and schooling.

  • Cancer Research - funding scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner, and also providing cancer information to the public.
