Steel alloy shoulder screw made to NF E 27-191 standard, for use in die moulds and for a wide range of other uses, including replacement of expensive parts such as pivots, linkages, shafts, guides, pins, and trunion mountings.

The reason for having the strength of a property class 12.9 on socket head shoulder screws, is to increase wear resistance on the shoulder. Due to the undercut between the thread and the shoulder, the tightening torque has to be lowered
