GN 820.2 Horizontal Clamp Stainless Steel, Side Mounting
These horizontal acting toggle clamps GN 820.2 work according to the toggle principle: lever and clamping bar move in the opposite direction.
They require less space for the clamping action. In the clamped position the operating lever is in its horizontal position. The 90° rotated mounting surface allows a space-saving installation in addition to the clamping point. They are designed to ensure that, when opening, the operators fingers are not trapped between the clamping lever and the clamping arm (safety distance).
Being made of stainless steel, these clamps are suitable for use in a clean room environment, such as found in the food and pharmaceutical industries and their associated processing and packaging.
Horizontal acting toggle clamps in the U-bar version with two flanged washers (Type MF) can accommodate an application specific clamping screw. A spindle assembly with neoprene rubber tip is also included for Type MFC (GN708.1).
Compatible with GN708.1 clamping bolt, with rubber tip.
