GN5337.2 Star Knob, Plastic, Self Extinguishing.

These star knobs have five lobes, which allow the user a firm, strong grip. This results in high torques being easily achieved. Shock resistant, they are ergonomically designed to prevent fatigue to the operator, and are strong, robust and long lasting.

These star knobs are produced from a plastic material, which according to UL 94 V-O is classified as self extinguishing. This classification to UL 94 V-O (Underwriters Laboratories) determines the resistance of a plastic material to fire. This comprises a test on a piece of plastic material of a specific form and dimensions in a vertical position to be set alight, whereby the flame according to V-O must extinguish itself without burning droplets developing.
