DIN70952 Locking Plate for Slotted Lock Nuts DIN70852, Steel

Locking plates DIN 70952 secure slotted locknuts DIN 70852 with a positive connection to prevent undesired loosening or adjustment, such as when they are used to set the axial play of a bearing.

The inner tab positions the locking plate in a groove created in the threaded bolt for this purpose. After installing and adjusting the slotted locknut, the locking plate is bent into a groove in the nut to secure the parts in place. Due to this deformation, only a single use is recommended.
