GN722.4 Indexing Plunger, Stainless Steel, Weldable

For Stainless Steel-Indexing plungers GN 722.4, the plunger pin is actuated by a lifting ring. This take place by hand, with a Bowden cable or an extended gear lever handle with hook. The Stainless Steel A4 versions can be used in especially aggressive environments.

The dimensional tolerances between the plunger pin and the guide have been chosen to ensure functional reliability even after welding, application of a corrosion protection layer or in the event of soiling.

In the case of welding, the type AU in unassembled condition is recommended to avoid undesirable changes to the microstructure of the material due to heating of the spring and pin. In this case, the indexing plunger is assembled only after surface treatment of the welded guide.
