GN294 Installation Kit For Position Indicators
The GN 294 installation kits are needed for mounting a position indicator on linear units. The installation kit comprises an adaptor shaft GN294.1 and a torque limiting contact block GN294.2.
A retrofit is possible. The handwheel is removed. The kit is installed and the handwheel is refitted. The space required (s + l3) has to be taken into consideration.
As a rule a counter is chosen which matches the pitch of the trapeze thread on the lead spindle to show the read-out required per complete revolution.
For position indicators GN9053 / GN9054, the position indicator pitch is programmed.
