SRA Air System Tank
The table below must be used, during design, to define the number, volume and sizes of the air tanks on the dies. Volume table:volume of air needed for th pneumatic cylinder in relation to the diameter and stroke.
For double acting pneumatic cylinders use the table to define the volume
For single acting pneumatic cylinders still use the table to define the volume and multiply the result obtained by 3.
Add all the volumes of the various pneumatic cylinders on the die to obtain the total capacity (dm3) of the tank.
Choose the tank in relation to the total capacity obtained (dm3) and to the space available on the die.
